Lesson Twenty-One (21)

Topic: Integrity

SUNDAY SCHOOL HYMN

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s Day,

O how I love thee well;

I am happy, it makes me glad

To rejoice at thy birth.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s Day,

Thy fellowship suits me well;

Both young and old will sing thy song,

We long for Sunday School.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s Day,

Christ was thy first Teacher;

The Holy Spirit, the Great Teacher,

Reveals Himself through thee.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s Day,

This testimony stands sure:

That God the Father Almighty

Has poured His blessings on thee.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s Day,

Whether the sun shines bright,

Or clouds grow dark with pouring rain,

I’ll be in Sunday School.

O Sunday School, on the Lord’s Day,

I rejoice to see thee;

Will thou pass over me today

Without my being blessed?

OPENING PRAYER

Father, please grant me the grace to live uprightly in all my dealings, in Jesus’ name.

MEMORY VERSE

“The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.”

— Proverbs 11:3

BIBLE PASSAGE

Proverbs 11:1–6

A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is His delight.

When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivers from death.

The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be trapped by their own evil desires.

INTRODUCTION
