TOPIC - FELLOWSHIP WITH THE GODHEAD

“That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”

(1 John 1:3)

Through Christ Jesus, we have been ushered into divine fellowship—with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As we continue our study, this stands as the third profound blessing we receive through the Lord Jesus: fellowship.

The word fellowship comes from the Greek word koinonia, a term rich in meaning. It expresses deep communion, shared participation, and intimate oneness. One beautiful interpretation of this word is communion—a powerful expression that signifies sharing from the same source, a divine union. It also conveys communication, which leads to divine impartation and transformation.

Because of Jesus Christ, we now enjoy an extraordinary oneness with the Father. While the world struggles in darkness, yearning for a connection with God, we have been graciously brought into intimate fellowship with the Godhead. This is the true meaning and beauty of Christmas. We have become partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4)—associates of the God-kind.

The Scriptures affirm this truth clearly:

“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinthians 1:9). As glorious and majestic as Jesus is, we are now joined with Him in fellowship, union, and friendship. We share in His life and nature. No wonder the Apostle John confidently declares that our fellowship is with both the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3). Hallelujah!

This reality is further emphasized in 2 Corinthians 13:14:

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all.”

The word communion here is the same as fellowship, reminding us that we are also in deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

This is not a promise for the future—it is our present-day reality. We are no longer outsiders looking in. We have been welcomed into the inner circle of divine fellowship with the Godhead. Let this truth shape your consciousness. Live daily in the awareness of this divine union, for it is the secret to a victorious and triumphant Christian life.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for the privilege of fellowship with You, with the Lord Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit. I live daily in the consciousness of this divine oneness, knowing that I am an associate of the God-kind, inseparably united with You. My life overflows with glory, excellence, and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
