MEMORISE

Pray without ceasing.

— 1 Thessalonians 5:17

BIBLE READING: DANIEL 6:10–11

10 When Daniel knew that the decree had been signed, he went into his house. With his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times a day, prayed, and gave thanks before his God, just as he had always done.

11 Then those men gathered and found Daniel praying and asking for help from his God.

MESSAGE

Daniel had a strong and consistent prayer routine. He prayed three times every day, kneeling with his windows open toward Jerusalem. When his enemies tricked the king into signing a wicked law that forbade prayer to any god, Daniel refused to compromise. Even when his life was at risk, he continued to pray faithfully.

By God’s grace, I have remained consistent in my prayer life because I understand that staying relevant on earth requires constant connection with my Source—God. Daniel’s devotion to prayer was clearly reflected in his success. He served faithfully under three different governments and remained relevant throughout. The Bible also tells us that he had an excellent spirit given to him by God.

My dear child, if you want to excel in your studies, career, or business, you must become a prayer champion. Prayer connects you to God, the Source of wisdom, strength, and resources needed for success. When challenges or threats arise, do not panic. Instead, go on your knees and pray to the living God in faith, trusting that He will answer you.

KEY POINT

Make prayer a daily lifestyle.
