MEMORY VERSE

MESSAGE

Today is Christmas Day, and Christians all over the world are celebrating. While it is good to rejoice, we must not forget to give the true Celebrant—Jesus Christ—something to rejoice about as well. According to today’s memory verse, heaven erupts with joy whenever a sinner repents and comes to Christ. That means when you lead someone to Jesus, heaven celebrates because of you.

Jesus does not want His coming to the world—which we celebrate today—to be in vain. That is why He expects us to tell others about Him. As you post pictures and messages on your social media platforms today, include words that can touch the hearts of unbelievers. When you give gifts or help the needy, take the opportunity to share the message of the gospel with them. There is no better way to celebrate Christmas than by pleasing the One whose birth we are celebrating.

Personally, Christmas and Easter are special seasons for evangelism. I make it a point to reach out to people, giving heaven reasons to rejoice. In return, Jesus has always given me reasons to rejoice as well. Dear young person, decide to follow this example so that you too can experience the joy and blessings that come from winning souls.
