Message

The word “end” refers to the final part or conclusion of something. In life, it can also describe a person’s final destination after death. Today’s Bible passage tells the story of a landowner who hired workers at different times of the day—early morning, noon, mid-afternoon, and even late in the evening. Surprisingly, when work ended, everyone received the same reward.

At first, this may seem unfair to those who started earlier. However, Jesus used this parable to teach an important lesson: what truly matters is not how someone begins, but how they end.

This means that starting well is good, but finishing well is far more important. For example, a person may serve God faithfully for many years but fall into sin at the end of life without repentance—such a person risks eternal separation from God. On the other hand, someone who sincerely repents and gives their life to Christ shortly before death will still receive eternal life.

Dear teenager, the crown of life is not given to those who only start well, but to those who remain faithful until the end. If you have not yet given your life to Jesus Christ, now is the best time. Let go of every sin and live for Him wholeheartedly. No one knows when Christ will return, and you certainly do not want to miss heaven.
