MESSAGE

If you are reading today’s devotional, it is undeniable evidence that God has been exceedingly good to you. He has preserved you through 364 days of the year 2025, and by His grace, you will also witness the end of today in joy, in Jesus’ name. The year may have brought storms and fierce winds, but the Lord stood by you. He shielded you from danger and frustrated every plan of the enemy against your life. Take a moment to genuinely praise Him.

If 2025 was a pleasant year for you, rejoice—greater and better days lie ahead. God is about to hand you a brand-new book with 365 blank pages. His thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace and hope (Jeremiah 29:11), and He has already gone ahead of you to prepare 2026 as a year of blessings. If the year brought painful or disappointing experiences, be encouraged. God is making all things new. He will restore every loss (Joel 2:25) and grant you a fresh beginning in 2026, in Jesus’ name.

As you step into the new year, there are important things you must do:

Reflect and give thanks.

Take time to consider all that God has done for you and thank Him sincerely. It is by His mercy that you are still standing.

Let go of the past.

You cannot move forward while clinging to what lies behind. If you recorded great achievements in 2025, continue pressing forward, knowing there is still more ahead (Philippians 3:13–14). If the year brought failures, stop dwelling on them. Lift your eyes to the Lord—He will grant you good success in 2026 (Psalm 121:1–2).

Stay away from sin.

Abstain from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Sin will hinder your progress and block you from God’s plans. Do not allow the enemy to rob you of God’s best in the coming year.

Fix your focus on Jesus.

You need Him now more than ever. Hold on to Him, obey His instructions completely, and your path will be secure. Only those who are willing and obedient will enjoy the good of the land in 2026 (Isaiah 1:19).

Beloved, God has wonderful plans for you in the next 365 days. In the name that is above every other name, I pray that you will not miss God’s best in 2026. Your life shall not be cut short, and your eyes shall behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, in Jesus’ name.

ACTION POINT

Spend time today reflecting on God’s goodness throughout 2025, and thank Him sincerely with your whole heart.
