DATE: Thursday, January 1st, 2026
TOPIC: Live by the Minute
MEMORY VERSE:
“I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”
— John 9:4 (KJV)
BIBLE READING: Ephesians 5:15–17 (KJV)
“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”
MESSAGE
To live by the minute means to make every moment of your life meaningful. It is about doing the right thing at the right time and not wasting the precious gift of time God has given you. Living this way requires discovering God’s purpose for your life and intentionally working toward fulfilling it. Beloved, have you discovered God’s plan for your life? If yes, are you actively pursuing it?
Having big dreams, writing goals, and making plans that align with God’s purpose is good—but it is not enough. You must take action. Start small by breaking your goals into quarterly plans, then into monthly and weekly targets, and finally into daily tasks. This step-by-step approach makes your goals easier to achieve and keeps you focused.
Today’s memory verse reminds us that time is limited. That is why you must work diligently while you still have strength and opportunity. Dear child, you can meet—and even surpass—your goals this year if you are intentional with every minute of your life. I pray that God grants you the grace to fulfil His purpose for your life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
KEY POINT
Do not waste time—make every day count.
