OPENING PRAYER: Father, please help me to put things right for your use.
PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE: The leaders should remind the members on last week lesson on how to rekindle Pentecostal fire.

BIBLE TEXT: Romans 8:10-11
[10]And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
[11]But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
LESSON INTRODUCTION: To examine yourself means assessing one's own true state and character before God. It is standing before divine mirror to see whether you are doing it right, is there any little sin you are condoning, is there things engaging on that may truncate your access to God's agenda? Examine yourself whether you are still in faith.
LESSON AIM: To learn the need for self-examination.
TEACHING OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, members should be able to;
◆ Know reasons for self-examination.
◆ Know how to examine oneself. Text Review: Romans 8:10,11
◆ Christ in you makes the body to become dead to sin.
◆ Spirit of God brings quickening of our immortal bodies.
◆ Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Lesson Outline One: REASONS FOR BELIEVERS TO EXAMINE THEMSELVES
(1) To rejig your spiritual state.
(2) To evaluate your commitment to divine mandate.
(3) To block all leakages that can drain your anointing.
(4) To keep you focused on the cross, unmovable. Jeremiah 4:3-4
(5) To deny devil access to break fellowship with God.
(6) To combat all demonic wiles in this perilous time. Luke 18:22-25
(7) To end it at the feet of Jesus. Matthew 25:10-13
(8) To allow Christ to fully form in us. Galatians 4:19
Lesson Outline Two: HOW TO EXAMINE YOURSELVES?
(1) Remain in righteousness and holiness. Hebrew 12:14
(2) Get rid of all distractions, be the doer of God's Word. James 1:22
(3) Rely on Holy Spirit for revival, exhort one another as believers. Hebrew 3:13
(4) Be ready to trust God for positive change.
(5) Check your faith level and your thirst for righteousness.
(6) Check your level of commitment towards kingdom business. 1 Corinthians 10:12
(7) Get rid of evil heart of unbelief. Hebrews 3:12.
(8) By feeding correctly the sheep in your custody. John 21:20-22
SUMMARY: Periodically we should continue to examine ourselves, to see if we are still in the faith.
CONCLUSION: When we have the true faith of a disciple of Christ, the fruit of the Spirit will be manifested and obedience to His word.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, please help to remain in righteousness and holiness. Hebrew 12:14
2. I receive Holy Ghost fire to get rid of all distractions.
3. Father, make to be the doer of Your Word, James 1:22
4. Father, help me to always rely on Holy Spirit for revival.
5. Father, please make me a special instrument in Your hand. Be ready to trust God for positive change. Check your faith level and your thirst for righteousness.
GOLDEN DIET FOR THE WEEK
MONDAY: You need to rejig your spiritual state.
TUESDAY: Evaluate your commitment to divine mandate.
WEDNESDAY: Block all leakages that can drain your anointing.
THURSDAY: Keep your focused on the cross, unmovable. Jeremiah 4:3-4
FRIDAY: Always deny devil access to break fellowship with your God.
SATURDAY: Combat all demonic wiles posed as threat to your life in this perilous time.
SUNDAY: You must try to end all at the feet of Jesus.
