TOPIC: FLOURISHING IN GOD'S HOUSE

MEMORISE : Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God (Psalm 92:13).

EXPOSITION

The spirit of flourishing in God's house is the spirit of productivity as the world commemorates National Productivity Day and Darwin Day today. David's longing to dwell in God's house reflects a desire for continuous communion and enrichment. Remember how the household of Stephanas adhered themselves to the ministry of the saints.

As believers, it is crucial not only to attend God's house but to actively participate in its ministries (Heb. 10:24-25). Like a tree planted by the riverside flourishes, those rooted in God's house thrive spiritually and all other areas (Psa. 1:3). They find nourishment in His presence, yielding fruit in every season (Jn. 15:5). Their lives exemplify His power and grace, impacting others for His glory. Let us be fervently committed to God's house, knowing that in it, we find true flourishing and fulfilment in Him (Psalm 84:10). Let us fervently commit ourselves to God's house. Recognise that within its walls, we experience genuine flourishing and fulfilment in Him. The Psalmist stresses the incomparable worth of a day in God's presence over a thousand elsewhere (Psa. 84:10).

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, help me to actively engage in Your ministries.

2. Lord, help me to always be patient in Your presence so that I can find nourishment there.

3. Pray for believers to embody God's power and grace.
